My Flowers

Hello Everyone!

Gosh! The week is flying by. I can't believe it's Thursday. I have been busy sorting my blog out today. I do at times find things difficult, although they aren't. I've updated my Blog list and I've been generally tidying up.

I would like to welcome my new followers today. I'm pleased you are all on board, and hope that we can have some fun. As I have been busy on line today I am just going to post some of my favourite work. I have had a few comments today on Flickr asking me to do a 'tutorial' for my flowers. Well maybe in the future. I'm just busy trying to find out where I am with this blog at the moment, it is all so.....new to me! Taking me awhile to get sorted.

My Carnations. I know I rave about them but I do love them. My friend, my bestest friend BrendaS2 sent me the pattern through the post a few months ago as I have said many times. It is also available on line. home.inreach.com/marthac/crochet4.html From then I haven't really looked back. I wanted to keep making them. They are time-consuming and when I started I kept going on and on and on! First some for my Conservatory, then a bunch for my daughter who left home, then my daughter who is still at home for her room. Then two bunches were made for the Lounge. I have made them in Pink and Peach now and here are some of my favourite photographs.

It all started with one flower!

Crocheted Carnation.

Then I made a few more!

Carnations in the Conservatory.

Then a few more!

Crocheted Flowers in my garden.

Then just a few more!

Crocheted Carnations.

And....before I knew it my house was full of them.

Crocheted Carnations.

Thank you BrendaS2 - my bestest friend in the World.
