Tuesday's post.

Good evening,

Two beautiful Sunshine Blankets arriving today.
This Blanket has been beautifully made by PinkLemons in Singapore.
How very kind of her to send it all this way.
I know our 'SIBOL' project is very dear to your heart PinkLemons and I am truly honoured that you want to donate your beautiful work to Residents here in the UK.

PinkLemons tells me on her card that the Blanket is very special to her. It was
completed on the day that Joseph Schooling, a 21 year old swimmer won the first ever Olympic Gold Medal for Singapore. 'Truly many things are possible if only we dare to dream.' She writes.
Thank you so very much and I know this Blanket will certainly bring lots of smiles!

Next we have a Blanket from Rachel. Rachel has been working very hard to finish a Blanket just before heading off to University. Thank you so much. She has called it 'Joan' because her dear Gran lovingly helped her to complete it. Both Rachel and Joan spent many hours Knitting and chatting and Rachel really cherishes those special times with her Gran. Joan hadn't knitted for quite a while but now she's on her second Blanket. I'm so pleased that 'SIBOL' has got those needles clicking Joan! She loves it so much that now she's on her second Blanket. Thank you also for the beautiful Butterflies and ribbon packs. I'm so grateful to you for those too.

All the best with University Rachel, and please thank Joan for me.

Monday's post.

Good afternoon,

Christine has sent me a lovely warm Sunshine Blanket today. Made in Chunky yarn this is certainly going to be a very comforting Blanket for one of our Residents. It's a great size and I love the Flower you have enclosed too. I thought it finished the Blanket off beautifully. I have also added one of our Crocheted Butterflies which is rather like our own 'SIBOL' trade mark.

Christine tells me she hasn't been crocheting long and it's so nice that she has put her new found skill to a worthwhile cause. I have over 20 Blankets upstairs now and I will take them out over the next few months to a Home I have in mind.  I shall be sure to enclose this one too Christine thank you.

May I remind you my cut off point for accepting Blankets and Shawls is end of November. So I would be grateful if you would keep any un-finished ones until next year 1st March.  Finishing in November gives me chance to take them to a Home ready for Christmas. I may deliver some before then depending how many I get in.

It's a pleasure to receive your work thank you Christine.

Thank you Christine D   Just 4 U! X
