Gingerbread Christmas Tree Skirt and Gingerbread Garland.

Hello Monday's arrived quickly after the weekend!

A couple of Flickr friends have shown interest in my Gingerbread Tree Skirt over the weekend.

The measurements are 54" (inches) diameter.
This depends on the size of your tree. If you have a large tree make it larger.
If you have a smaller tree make it smaller. Entirely up to you.

The appliques were made out of felt also. I made Hearts, Gingerbread Houses, Christmas Trees, Gingerbread Boys and Gingerbread Girls. You can dress the children in odd bits of Christmas fabric. I also added some little red bows on to the outfits. The Christmas trees - well I had small amounts of glittery crocheting thread spare so I embroidered some stars here and there. You can virtually do your own design whatever you want. I didn't bother with any sequins on this Tree Skirt.

Once I had the appliques cut out I just did little running stitches around the shapes to hold them in place to the Tree Skirt. So simple...... Even I could do it!
