Squares across the miles! Damaris, Puerto Rico!! :) Updated Slideshow for you! NEWSFLASH!!!!!!!! TO ALL 'SIBOL' CONTRIBUTORS. www.sunshineinternationalblanketsoflove.blogspot.com

Hi Everyone!

Well it's Monday evening and I'm finally getting to make this Slide Show for Damaris.  Loading of photographs this afternoon was taking the mick! I had to pop to my Slimming Club so I then had to leave it.
(I put on a pound :( , nevermind!)

This morning I had a proper 'Monday morning feeling' but I soon got out of it when Mr. Postie arrived. This time it wasn't the 'man on foot' it was Mr. Postie 'on wheels!'. Knocked the door, please sign for this parcel. I wondered what on earth it could be! Has Mr. Twin ordered MORE car polish off the TV? No, it had come all across the World from 'Puerto Rico', Damaris.  Damaris is a lady who very kindly reads my blog. I
opened up the parcel and in front of my eyes were a beautiful pile of squares.

You're so kind Damaris! Thank you. All the way from Puerto Rico! Thank you so...much!

I have to say to everyone that reads my blog. I really only ever expect to receive  maybe 'one square'. To receive this amount of Squares I just cannot put into words how I feel. I am so touched by peoples kindness. This was a project I had swimming around in my head for quite a while, you know Helping the Elderly. I never would have thought in my wildest dreams that I would be so successful! I'm on my 4th Blanket and it's all thanks to you!

They keep a comin!' Colourful Squares across the miles from Puerto Rico! Thank you Damaris! www.suesfavouritethings.blogspot.com If you'd like to join in the fun! I'm making 'Sunshine Blankets' for the Elderly.

I'm pleased to say that my 'spin off' blog http://www.sunshineinternationalblanketsoflove.blogspot.com/ has had it's first post from a 'team blogger'. This means that others can post to my blog, isn't that wicked! Maria in Australia has very kindly written about one of her Squares she sent over to me. I'm really pleased she took the time and trouble to have a go. I don't know how this is going to work, but I'll give anything a go. I'm always trying to learn something new. Often have to ask, but we are all friends and no one minds. The 'spin off' blog is really just for people to write about the Squares that they've sent over to me. Maybe they want to say where they got the pattern  or maybe they have an idea where I can post details about my project. e.g. Knitting and Crocheting forum.  I'm open to ideas.

Oh, I've asked Kim's Daughter if she'd like to write a post or a comment sometime on how she's finding Crocheting, and perhaps 'who got her in to it!' I wonder? How she's getting on that sort of thing. I thought it would be nice to hear from someone in the 'younger generation'. But she doesn't have to. It's just an idea. No pressure now! You never know she might want to start her own blog!! Now there's an idea!

So in closing I'll say thank you to Damaris, I do hope you're checking in to see your Squares, and that you've enjoyed the Slide Show. Bye for a bit, and 'THANKS TO EVERYONE!!'.

OOh I nearly forgot. Maria did a very clever thing over on Flickr. Where there are photos of the Blankets Sunshine 1, 2, 3, You can see the full Blanket. Well she has 'add note' to her Square on the Blanket so others can see it's hers. Does anyone else want to find their Square? As if you haven't got enough to do!

TUESDAY'S ANNOUNCEMENT!

Karin has had a most wonderful idea. Could you all pop over to 'SIBOL'? THANK YOU!

content seem to be running off the screen in Firefox.
I'm not sure if this is a formatting issue or something to do with web browser compatibility but I figured I'd post
to let you know. The design and style look great though!
Hope you get the issue resolved soon. Kudos
