'Show and Tell Friday' - Crocheting for my Home 2009.

Hi it's already Friday, one week to go!

It's 'Show and Tell' Friday. Thanks Cindy for hosting, so near to Christmas.

I know we've all been busy but at the start of the week I sat and thought about my Crocheting, what I had managed to achieve since starting Flickr and Blogland. I put together a couple of mosaics for you.

Looking back at my work 2009.

It's amazing how many projects you've actually managed to finish when you put together a mosaic like this!

My Christmas slideshow just for you!

'Happy Christmas to my dear friends on Flickr and Blogland'
and to my new friends that are passing through on 'Show and Tell' Friday!'.

Lots of Friendship hugs and love

Have a lovely Christmas. Take lots of photos of all that cold weather and cosiness for those of us who dream of a cold ( & snowy white ) Christmas.

  4. It's amazing just how much you have gotten done this year. Wow. I just think back to when we started on this journey back in Aug./Sept. we have come so far and to think we almost stopped after the first few weeks. I'M SO GLAD we stuck with this. It's been such a fun journey and I wouldn't trade it for all the tea in China.

Hope the Twins got home safely last night and all the curling was worth it.

  14. You have done some beautiful things in a years time. I crochet to but it's not something I do often. I'm still working on an afghan for my daugther-in-law that I started about a year ago. I guess I need to try and finish it up!

Have a blessed Christmas and Happy New Year.

  15. Hi Sue,
I'm back again. Thank you so much for your visits and encouragement. I stumbled onto Attic24 a couple of months ago and a whole new world opened up to me! When I was telling a friend about it she said "Why don't you do it? People from these places may be just as interested in our way of life as you are in theirs."

So I gave it a go and it has given me so much pleasure - the communicating as well as all I'm seeing and learning and the new friends I'm making. It's the first thing I do when I wake up - check to see who's called in and left a message -and the last thing I do before I go to bed.
In Australia we've grown up with English poetry, literature, history and I've always hankered to see all the things I've read about all my life. So in 2008 my husband and I holidayed in England for 3 months. I wanted to see the daffodils, the bluebells, the roses, the castles, the villages, the stately homes, the countryside, to go walking along the public pathways, to experience the weather - and we did and it was glorious. We are absolutely hooked but that was Spring and your Winters remain something to be experienced. So maybe we will get there one year and hope for a white Christmas but until then I'll have to live it through the eyes of my bloggy friends.
It is sooo nice to meet you all.
    Cheers
    Helen

  16. I love how you displayed everything with the mosaics. Looks great! I'm going to be emailing you soon with ripple questions...again. I haven't started yet but I emailed my mom the directions and she's helping me work through it too. I told you a while back I just needed you to live next door to me. ;)
